The Prophet ﷺ encouraged frequent remembrance of the “destroyer of pleasures”, meaning death.
Qurʾanic perspective
The Qurʾan reminds us that every soul will taste death and that the return to Allah is certain.

Useful preparation includes Tawbah, good deeds, settling obligations, reconciliation and responsible funeral planning rather than fear and speculation.
